Oil field services giant Weatherford International said its Principal Accounting Officer Charles Geer will leave the company effective March 18. The decision follows Weatherford's disclo- sure of accounting errors in calculating its taxes during the 2007-10 period that would result in a $500 million downward adjust- ment in the company's reported earnings over the same time period.
