Petronas to List Units

Malaysia's Petronas said Thursday that it plans to list its petrochemicals business on the Malaysian exchange this year. The state oil and gas firm said in a statement that the plans are in line with government efforts "to add further depth" to the exchange. The petrochemicals division's product portfolio ranges from olefins and polyolefins through fertilizers to specialty chemicals. Petronas unit MISC, meanwhile, said it plans to list its wholly owned unit Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering.
