India would like to see a near-doubling in oil imports from Saudi Arabia to meet future demand growth and is seeking more investment opportunities in the kingdom's energy industry, Indian officials said during a landmark three-day visit to Riyadh by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that wrapped up Monday.
