摘要

The phase and disperse compositions and particle shape of FeOOH in water-soluble iron-chitosan adsorption complexes have been studied by powder X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy depending on their preparation conditions. It has been established that the heating of an iron-chitosan solution for 3-6 min prior to precipitation increases the content of Fe(III), as well as the sizes and polydispersity of akaganeite particles in iron-chitosan complexes. Adsorption complexes prepared without heating are characterized by a narrow size distribution of akaganeite spherulites (2-6 nm).
