摘要

Essential oils of two compositae species, including Eupatorium catarium and Eupatorium odoratum, harvested in Hainan province, extracted by hydrodistillation, were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The antifungal activity of the oils against 8 phytopathogenic fungi (Fusarium graminearum, Botrytis cinema, Exerohilum turcicum, Mucor, Stierotinia sclerotiorum, Rhizoctonia solani AG 1-IA, Rhizoctonia solani Kiihn, Fusarium graminearum Schwabe.) was tested by determining minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) using the microdilution method. The two oils exhibited potent antifungal activities.
