West Africa Oil & Gas Security Summit (Lagos, Nigeria, 10-11 June 2015)

The London-based company IRN has announced that the second edition of the West Africa Oil & Gas Security Summit will take place in Lagos on 11 and 11 June. West Africa is an important and very promising oil and gas province, but it faces significant risks in security terms. Nigeria, with Boko Haram in the north-east of country and the illicit siphoning off of oil in the Niger delta, springs immediately to mind, but risks of piracy at sea also have to be taken seriously in this region.
