Americas dry bulk freight rates were mixed in the last week, with little change on most routes despite steady gains in key timecharter rates. The cost of moving coal from the US Gulf to Europe fell by 25cents/metric tonne to $12.75/t, as Panamax availability improved and more vessels moved in to compete for fresh cargoes.
