Quemetco Inc. and Exide Technologies Inc. expect no impact on operations stemming from a push for more stringent and clearer rules on lead emissions from smelting operations in Indiana. City of Industry, Calif.-based Quemetco and Milton, Ga.-based Exide said they will abide by new limits set to take effect in September for source-specific lead emissions at their secondary lead smelting facilities.
