Secondary aluminum alloy A380.1 prices edged higher in the past week as strong growth in the automotive sector continued to support the market. The price range for A380.1 tightened to $1.05 to $1.06 per pound Jan. 30 from $1.04 to $1.06 previously, with some sellers reporting numbers as high as $ 1.08 per pound for spot material.
