UPL agchem sales up 11% in Q1

Indian agrochemical company UPL recorded an agrochemical sales rise of 11.4% to Rs 30,116 million ($453.5 million at the current rate) in its first quarter ended June 30th. Agrochemicals accounted for 98.3% of the company’s consolidated gross revenues of Rs 30,640 million ($461.4 million), which grew by 11.2%. Domestic sales on all products made up 35.3% of total revenues and provided the main boost, rising by 15.5% to Rs 10,830 million ($163.1 million). International sales on grew by 9% to Rs 19,810 million ($298.3 million).
