The Argentine agrochemical market is expected to fall by some 15% this year, the national newspaper, La Nacion, reports. The newspaper’s own October survey calculated a loss of almost $900 million among sales to date of pesticides, fertilisers and seed. That amounts to a 17% drop compared with a combined market last year of some $5,267 million. It anticipates the major concern to be falling seed sales, at least certified seed.
