Homer City Generation LP, the limited partnership that holdsthe 1,884-MW Homer City coal-fired merchant generating station 45miles northeast of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, may be headed forbankruptcy, credit analysts said Friday.The facility, which has been in bankruptcy before, defaulted oninterest and principal payment obligations on October 3, and,according to Moody’s Investors Service, entered into a forbearanceagreement with its bondholders that lasts through October 17, 2016.
