Dow's novel antimicrobial polymer gains traction in Indian textiles market

Getting apparel, home furnishings and other textile products to look fresh and completely odour-free even after numerous washes is a big challenge in the hot and humid climate prevalent in most parts of the country. However a novel polymer laced with silver ions from leading chemicals firm, Dow Chemical, promises to do just that, and is rapidly finding its way into offerings of leading textile brands in India.
