Siluria Technologies opens gas-to-ethylene demo plant in Texas

US-based fuels and chemicals producer, Siluria Technologies, has started operations at its demonstration plant in Texas, US, to produce ethylene from natural gas through oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) technology. Said to be the world's first large-scale ethylene production plant, the demonstration plant is located adjacent to Braskem America's facility.
