Mitsui joint venture expands polypropylene production in US

Advanced Composites Inc, a US-based joint venture of Japan's Mitsui Chemicals and Prime Polymer Co. Ltd. has announced a 14,000-tpa expansion of poly-nronvlene nroduction in the US to meet growing demands of the automotive materials sector. The jv is majorly owned by Mitsui Chemicals America (59.8%), Prime Polymer (3%) and others (37.2%).
