Uptrend in Rapeseed and Castor oils; Linseed, Karanja and Neem oils ease

The week under review saw upward movement in the prices of rapeseed and castor oils, while a downward trend was seen in linseed, karanja and neem oils. Groundnut stayed unmoved, while Rapeseed saw a gain of 1.46%. Sunflower was up by 0.72%, while Kardi stayed unmoved. Linseed oil was down by 1.83%, while Sesame stayed unchanged. Cottonseed saw a gain of 0.81%, and Castor oil also moved up by 1.73%. Among the imported oils, RBD palmolein saw a marginal gain 0.58%, while crude Soya was not quoted during the week. Crude palm oil saw a gain of 0.65%. Solvent extracted soya was up by 3.33% while the prices of Ricebran, Ricebran industrial were not quoted.
