The American Chemistry Council (ACC) and the Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) have renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed a year before, to work towards implementing a 'Responsible Care' programme in the Gulf region. As per the MoU, both entities will work towards environmental, health, safety and security aspects in the chemical industry of the region. The scope of the MoU has also been broadened to include identifying additional areas of collaboration in trade and international product sus-tainability.
