EIL hikes project cost of OPaL to Rs. 19,535-crore

Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), the project management consultant (PMC) for the upcoming petrochemical complex at Dahej by ONGC Petro-additions Ltd. (OPaL), has increased the cost estimate of the project to Rs. 19,535-crore -57% higher than the earlier approved cost of Rs. 12,440-crore. The board of directors of ONGC and OPaL have approved the revised costs.
