Government to unveil solar energy policy in November

The Government will unveil a new policy on solar energy on November 14, as part of its target to produce 20,000-MW of solar power by 2020. The policy will aim at bringing down cost of solar energy and will be industry-friendly to promote investments in the sector, informed Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy.
