Chemical companies in Maharashtra are facing tremendous hardships due to non availability of furnace oil and light diesel oil(LDO).According to the apex industry body for chemicals,Indian Chemical Council(ICC),the situation has arisen due to provisions in the Solvent Raffinate and Slop(Acquisition,Sale,Storage and Prevention of use in Automobile)Order 2000.
