Shasun clocks 20% growth in net profit in H1

Chennai based Shasun Chemicals And Drugs Ltd.,has achieved a net profit of Rs.962-lakhs for the half year ended 30th September,2004,as against Rs.803-lakhs in the corresponding period last year,registering an increase of 20%.Gross profit increased to Rs.24.98-crore from Rs.22.18-crore and profit before tax to Rs.13.91-crore(Rs.10.63-crore).
