Plastics are clean,convenient and comfortable,and it has enriched the lives of people around the world.But most conventional plastics are cursed by a property,which made it so popular to begin with-durability.After its usually brief useful lives,plastic materials-most visibly discarded plastic bags and bottles-remain in the environment without degrading.Its widespread use has,therefore* show-balled into a serious pollution problem and drastic measures like complete ban on plastic bags and other legal interventions have been effected to tackle it.
