Water scarcity, regulatory pressures, and rapid industrial development in areas where high-quality water is limited continues to provide strong market opportunities.Water is a critical global issue and that will increase in urgency. The United Nations estimates that, by 2 0 2 5,1.8 billion people will be living in countries or regions with absolute water scarcity, and two-thirds of the world's population could be living under water-stressed conditions. Industrial and population growth are highest in areas that are most challenged when it comes to availability of water.
