Cabot to Close Hong Kong Masterbatch Plant, Move Production to Tianjln

Cabot says it will close permanently its masterbatch plant in Hong Kong by March 31, and relocate production to the company's site at Tianjin, China. All of Cabot's masterbatch production in China will be at Tianjin from April 2012. Cabot's existing masterbatch plant at Tianjin opened last September and has a production capacity of 45,000 m.t./year.
