Formation of residual stresses in electrosparc coatings and influence of thermal treatment to this formations

摘要

The effect of thermal treatment on internal residual stresses formation in spark coatings on steel substrate is studied. It is ascerfained that tempering the hardened steel prior to coating leads to reduction in depth of tension stress propagation in coating layer, and tempering after coating results in values of stresses above.
