Restoration of dimensions and properties of cast iron cylindrical parts by resistance build-up welding with wire

摘要

It is shown that application of electrocontact building-up of steel wires for restoration of cast iron surfaces can be technically and economically justified. For this purpose it is necessary to provide a continuous built-up layer with a guaranteed quality of its joining with a base metal.
