摘要

PURPOSE: To produce a cast iron excellent in corrosion resistance and wear resistance and to provide a cylinder liner cast by the same cast iron. ;CONSTITUTION: This cast iron is constituted of a chemical compsn. contg., by weight, 2.5 to 3.6% C, 1.4 to 2.6% Si, 0.5 to 1.0% Mn, 0.1 to 0.4% P, ≤0.12% S, 0.1 to 0.4% Cr, 0.03 to 0.12% B, 0.2 to 2.0% Cu and 1.0 to 10% Co, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and constituted of a compsn. in which a hard phase constituted of steadite and boron compounds and flake graphite is dispersed into a matrix effentially constituted of pearlite. By using this cast iron, the cylinder liner of an internal combustion engine such as a Diesel engine particularly provided with equipment is cast to form.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
