USA, has announced that its iT501 Communication Module is a fully RoHS-compliant product that is designed to meet European Union (EU) Directive 2002/95/EC on the restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment. RoHS restricts the use of lead, among other substances. The Directive came into effect on 1 July 2006, regulating all products sold in the EU market place. According to Wilcoxon.
