Development of Diagnosis System for Strip Breakage in the Tandem Cold Rolling Mill

摘要

It is important to predict strip breakage occurring during high speed rolling since the strip breakage is major cause of increase of amounts of roll grinding drop of productivity and bad quality of strip surface. Therefore, in this study, prediction method of the strip breakage due to badness of roll level which occupies over 60 percent among the case of the strip breakage is introduced by measuring and analyzing of vibration of work roll chock in the each stand.
