The peculiarities of growth and differentiation of long-term growing callus culture of maize inbred DK675

摘要

The obtaining growth and differentiation of friable, embryogenic callus of type 2 of maize inbred DK675, growing in culture about 6 years is considered. One of peculiarities of its proliferation is seasonal periodicity with maximum of activity in spring period. The large volume of material was obtained in result of multiplication of this culture. This material has arisen from one immature embryo and excite interest in researching of problems of somaclonal variability, cell selection and molecular biology.
