摘要

In this paper we show experimental results of building reconstruction in wide urban area including about 5000 buildings. We aim at reconstructing automatically the city area structure (City Structure Model) from aerial image sequences. For two subjects (1) seamless spatial data recovery along flight courses and (2) building recovery which finds suitably concise point sets in the spatial data, proposed methods were evaluated quantitatively. And we confirmed improvement of building shape precision recovered by the methods. Furthermore, we made reconstruction system with simple configuration jobs and without needing special knowledge for work operators. Two PCs worked for ten days for about 5-square kilometer region in 2 urban areas, and City Structure Model of about 5000 buildings (13,222 objects) was able to be reconstructed automatically.
