We present the results of the experimental study of the pressure recovery factor in the radial channel of the rotating rotor (the factor includes pressure losses because of hydraulic resistance and possible incomplete pressure increase from centrifugal forces) as a function of the rotor revolution number; the head coefficient which characterizes the pressure properties of the rotor against the circumferential velocity is also the object of the experimental study. The study was carried out for the conditions (the channel sizes, angular velocity, the Rossbi number) characteristic of the rotor turbopump unit of promising liquid rocket engines.
