摘要

In recent years, many studies, both experimental and numerical, have focused on the cavitations phenomena in diesel injection nozzles and its effects on spray and combustion characteristics. The fuel inside the injection nozzle flows through a small-hole orifice extremely rapidly under high pressures, and the injection duration is also short. Thus, the experimental measurement of these parameters is difficult, and the numerical simulation is the right tool not only to obtain a better understanding of the internal flow behavior but also to focus on the effects of nozzle geometry on the spray and combustion characteristics.
