From the technical viewpoint, most of our automotive products have been designed and developed by making use of our in-house-developed technology and transferring it from the non-automotive field to the automotive field. These transfers were the result of requests from automakers. Our automotive clients request us to supply them with products which are able to satisfy their requirements in Q.C.D. We can accomplish this much more efficiently by making use of our own technology and infrastructure than by starting development from square one. This technical report covers the technical background of our main automotive products: the HID lamp ballast, the automotive relay, the ultrasonic sensor and the automotive switch.
