Eddy-current displacement sensors (EC displacement sensors) are used even in a high-temperature environment. However, the temperature drift of an EC displacement sensor arises from the temperature change of the installation environment. Therefore, EC displacement sensors with a small temperature drift are required. In this paper, we propose a method of reducing the temperature drift by changing the length of the coaxial cable from theoretical and experiment results. By this method, the temperature drifts in the range of -20 - 120 degrees of EC displacement sensors with coaxial cable length of 1110 mm and 1060 mm are -5.3% and -2.0% of the full-scale (F.S.) values, respectively, it is reduced by 60%.
