The thermoelectric temperature sensor (1) has a thermocouple (3), a temperature-resistant and mechanically flexible sheathed cable (2) with thermal conductors. One of the temperature sensor (2.5) is formed in the inner side of sheathed cable and projects through an outlet opening (O) of the sheathed cable to outer side the sheath cable that closes a side by a protective element (6), where the side faces the outlet opening. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining thermoelectrically determined measured values with a temperature sensor.
