摘要

The yield limit and hardness of steel as functions of the deformation rate are presented in the interval #epsilon# = 10~3 -10~4 sec~(-1). A set for hardness determination upon impact loading is developed. The data on the indentor embedding rate, resisting force of the material, and deformation rate as functions of the depth of indentor penetration are presented. The value of correlation relation C = 2.2 between the yield limit and hardness of steel upon dynamic loading appeared lower than the values determined at the low indenter penetration rates.
