From the remotest taiga to international recognition (on the 125th anniversary of the birth of academician L.I. Prasolov)

摘要

L.I. Prasolov made a valuable contribution to the Russian and world soil science. In 1918, he worked out a project of soil science development and outlined the main problems that had to be solved. It was a detailed plan of future development of soilscience and, surely, the acquaintance with it should be very instructive for the modem generation of scientists. The papers and cartographic works prepared by Prasolov are the objects of pride of the Russian soil science.
