Inhibitors of exoproteases of the pathogenic fungus Fusarium sp. in seeds and vegetative organs of plants

The fungus Fusarium sp. secretes enzymes hydrolyzing N,#alpha#-benzoyl-DL-arginine-4-nitroanilide hydrochloride into the culture liquid. Inhibitors of fungal proteases were found in seeds of wheat, rye, maize, buckwheat, and pea, as well as in potato tubers, carrot roots, apple fruits, and cabbage leaves. During seed swelling and germination, these inhibitors partially diffuse into the medium.
