日本産南方系ホンダワラ属【22】トサモクとタックリ

摘要

Sargassum kashiwajimanum Yendo and Sargassum tosaense Yendo recorded firstly based on the specimen collected from Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Though both species are very similar to the morphological characteristics of Sargassum patens, S. wakayamaense is distinguished from S. patens with these characteristics; leaves branched well and big vesicles, and S. tosaense is distinguished from S. patens with the characteristic of long leaves. However it is difficult to distinguish these three species. For the future, these species should be examined about the independence as species by the method of phylogeography using DNA analysis.
