Modern state and perspectives of the metrological assurance of the turbulent water flows temperature measurements

The analysis of measuring instruments applied in investigation of turbulent water flows is discussed. The list of the basic written standards used in development, operation and investigations of metrological characteristics of instruments measuring the varying temperature is given. The measuring standards and the hierarchical calibration chain for this field of measurement are described. The demand for establishment of the working standard of turbulent water flow temperature is substantiated.
