The automated device for measurement of elastic properties of metal wires in the region of elastic and plastic deformations

摘要

The automated experimental device for realization of complex measurements of elastic properties of metal wires at strong, down to break deformations is described. The device equiped allows to carry simultaneous measurements of dependence of deformation speed and amplitude of acoustic waves in metal wires of various diameters on value of applied force. The values of static and dynamic Young's modulus of researched materials depending on deformation are determined on the results of these measurements.
