The device (2) has a seal disc (12) detachably connected with a carrier rod (9), where the seal disc comprises a boundary region that is made of an elastic material. Dimension of the seal disc is selected such that a sealing effect is enabled by an elastic deformation of the boundary region of the seal disc. The seal disc has a central opening that corresponds to a circular cross section of the carrier rod, where the rod enables fastening of the seal disc with the carrier rod by a thread. An independent claim is also included for a system comprising a clamping device for fixing to a pipe and a sealing device.
