Development of the Technology of Mass Line Producing Strengthened Extruded Articles of Al-Mg-Si Alloys

There is considered a version of integrated technological solution of the problem of Al-Mg-Si alloys pressed profiles maximal strengthening on automated extrusion lines. The development is based on the following main technological principles: stepwise optimization of the processes of homogenization and previous heating of ingot pillars, extrusion and press-quenching combined with tension of extruded profiles, their artificial aging as well as high-level stepwise continuity of thermomechanical treatment of the alloy.
