Weldability of Hadfield and carbon steel at resistance flash butt welding is investigated. Principal possibility of copper alloying of joint zone at resistance butt welding of different steels is established. New method of resistance flash butt welding of Hadfield and carbon steel by alloying of welded joint zone with copper is developed. It allows to ensure the carbide phases absence in joint zone and full-strength with base metal.
