Sustainability in the Modern Biorepository Environment from the Perspective of the Tissue Procurement Core at the University of Iowa

A brief overview of biorepository sustainability from the perspective of a federated biorepository system at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is presented. The ongoing evolution of the federation and the efforts to improve efficacy and efficiency are described. The key sustainability factors identified are adaptability, focus, collaborationetworking, and service improvement.
