On the usually beauty diagnosis, there are a lot of patients who mind the pigmentation not only on the face but also on the nipple-areola. Although the concurrent therapy with tretinoin and hydroquinone has been reported on high effectiveness for whitening of the nipple-areola, it results in the many side effects such as erythema and itchy, so it has not been established as a general treatment method. In addition, the clinical appraisal was mainly used for the determination of effectiveness, then objective evaluation with measuring instrument is needed.
