摘要

In this report, a dual-band matching network for loads representable as a series resonant circuit such as input impedance of a quarter wave monopole antenna is proposed based on the network synthesis theory of a single frequency band. The fundamental concept to obtain dual-band matching is to perform twice frequency transformations for a low-pass matching network for loads representable as a series L-R circuit. Through this process, frequency conditions, which should be satisfied between matched two frequency bands, and resonant frequency of the load are derived. Moreover, the elements of the matching network are uniquely detected by giving these frequencies, quality factor of the load, and the number of stages of the matching network.
