Environmental geological mapping and some problems in Korea

摘要

Environmental geological map including variousthematic maps such as hazard geotechnical map, hydrogeologicalmap, geochemical map, quaternary geological map, materialproperty map and construction material map etc. plays importantroles in optimal land-uses in terms of foundation engineering,surface and ground water, natural and artificial hazards andconstruction material etc. Environmental geology in Korea is, aselsewhere, an interdisciplinary field.
