Mills’ prices for welded pipes to grow in late Q3

In July, domestic mills have not changed their prices for welded and seamless pipes. Changes in prices from foreign suppliers (in particular Russian plants) continues affecting domestic quotations of welded pipes. Prices for the Russian products are not expected to be revised in August and October. In September, higher production costs will stimulate Russian suppliers of welded pipes to increase prices by 2-3%.
